World Bidayuh Golf Championship - Details

The definition of Bidayuh for WBGC 2022 is: Bidayuh as per Identification Number (IC) or mother is a Bidayuh.

C) Important Details of Tournament:

1) Date: Saturday, 2nd July 2022

2) Venue: Samarahan Country Club(SCC) The course will be closed for the tournament.

3) Mode: Shotgun, morning,

4) Handicap cut off & Maximum number of players: 18, 100 players

5) Participation Fee: RM100 (excluding buggy fee and insurance)

6) H19: SCC

7) Goodies: WBGC 2022 T-shirt as goodies. Drinking water and 100Plus will be provided for each player.

8) Prizes: 

Nett 10, Gross 10, Ladies 3, Invited Guests 5 Gross and 5 Nett.

All prizes will be home appliances. Gross, Nett and Ladies champions will get the Minister's, DBNA President's and Datin's trophy, respectively. Gross and Ladies champions will get a set of Bidayuh head cover and shirt each. 

9) Novelties: *HIO* for Hole 3 and Hole 15. Hole 3 = a motorcycle sponsored by YB Dr SS. Hole 15 = RM3000 sponsored by Tn Sipol Ambun. *Bulleyes* for remaining 2 par 3 holes. *Longest drive*, Hole 4. *Nearest to line*, Hole 8. *Most Hard Working player*, 2nd highest scores.

10) Lucky draws: 10 Draws

11) The value of each prizes, non-sponsored novelties, lucky draws, etc will be based on prizes of previous WBGC/Togap tournaments.

D) List of Players

1) Only ‘WBGC - 2 JULY 2022’ WhatsApp Group will be used. 

2) To verify participants in the WhatsApp Group.

3) Players who have left the WhatsApp Group before, new players, will be added *before* potential list of players is determined. 

4) Only Tournament Director or authorized individual will update the list.

E) Tradition

1) Tuak will be served by 4 Bidayuh maidens at and between hole 1, clubhouse and hole 10; and at entrance of banquet hall.

2) Traditional welcoming dance will be performed by Bidayuh cultural troupe at Hall. 

3) To order 20 bottles, and to enggaged 4 maidens.

F) Dinner and Prize Giving

1) Details and costings from Togap President Cup will be used as ref, including sponsored of live band (+ pa).

2) Foods/beverages, beers will be discussed with Dylan Lai.

3) Bart will be the Master Ceremony. 

4) To invite Bidayuh dance troupe to perform.

5) High tables arrangements to be considered.

G) Rules

1) To produce specific rules for this WBGC. 

2) Rules used in WBGC and TOGAP President Cup will be considered.

H) Invited Guests

1) Presidents of respective golf association eg Sigat, DGA, Mouga, SCGA, etc and President & Captain of SCC will be formally invited. Invitation letters to be prepared by assigned individual.

2) others (Togap affiliate members) will be invited subject to availability of slots.

I) Publicity

1) To update the Blog as and when new info becomes available

2) To prepare banner/backdrop.
